Our commitment to accuracy

Pacific Beach Recovery publishes educational content about addiction, recovery, and sober living. We take accuracy seriously. When we get something wrong — whether a statistic, a clinical reference, a date, or a name — we correct it promptly and transparently.

How to request a correction

If you believe content on this website contains a factual error, please email info@pacificbeachsoberliving.com with:
• The URL of the page
• The specific text or claim in question
• A citation or source supporting the correction (if available)

Our review process

We acknowledge correction requests within three (3) business days. If the correction is straightforward and well-supported, we update the content within seven (7) business days. If further research is required, we respond within fourteen (14) business days with either the correction or a decision explaining why the original content stands.

How corrections are disclosed

• Minor edits (typos, formatting, broken links) are made silently.
• Substantive corrections (factual errors, corrected statistics, revised clinical information) are noted at the bottom of the page with the original text, the updated text, and the date of the correction.
• Retractions (content pulled due to serious inaccuracy) include a visible note explaining why the content was removed.
