Safe, Beautiful, and Structured Sober Living in San Diego
Our commitment
Pacific Beach Recovery is committed to building a recovery community that welcomes and supports people of every race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic background, and ability. Addiction does not discriminate — and neither do we.
In our program
We admit residents based on clinical appropriateness and program fit, not demographic characteristics. We do not discriminate in admission, housing assignment, or program participation based on any protected characteristic. Our staff receive ongoing training on culturally responsive care and harm reduction.
In our hiring
We recruit staff from a wide range of backgrounds and prioritize lived experience alongside clinical credentials. We believe recovery work is strongest when it reflects the community it serves.
In our editorial content
We write for a broad, diverse audience. We avoid defaulting to a single cultural, religious, or linguistic frame for recovery. We highlight multiple evidence-based pathways — 12-step, SMART Recovery, medication-assisted treatment, faith-based, secular, and harm-reduction approaches — because no single path works for everyone.
LGBTQ+ inclusion
Pacific Beach Recovery is an affirming environment. LGBTQ+ residents and staff are welcome. We do not tolerate homophobic, transphobic, or other identity-based harassment in our residences or in our online community.
Accountability
If you believe our program or our content has fallen short of these commitments, please use our Actionable Feedback Policy to tell us. We take this seriously.
