Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a mental health disorder that affects someone’s perception of facts and their conduct.
Patients with schizophrenia frequently have some of the following signs:
lavish and scary conceptions of reality
hearing voices or other sounds that others cannot, or having visual hallucinations
having the sensation that other people are in control of their minds and bodies
Their thoughts are confused, so it could be difficult to understand them clearly
strange behavior.
Other signs are issues with a lack of motivation, aloneness, separation from family and friends, and feeling a lack of emotions. People with schizophrenia may also lack focus and have problems with remembering things. In more extreme circumstances, there may even be issues with body movement.
Schizophrenia is diagnosed by a mental health professional. Our staff at Pacific Beach Recovery has the training and the expertise to diagnose and treat this disorder.
